The Wiebners

» Alison and Brad | Harrisburg, PA
Laugh. Smile. Cry. Laugh again. Smile some more. Cry harder. Laugh. This was Alison's face all day! She was such an expressive person it was difficult to not get a good shot of her. Her and Brad were such a nice couple to work with, we didn't want the day to end. We started out the day at Alison's parents house in Harrisburg, where we photographed the getting ready process, and where tears and laughter flowed. Off to the church after this, which was Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament on 3rd Street in downtown Harrisburg. Gorgeous old church, and we got some really awesome shots while there. Their priest was a friend of the family, he had actually married Alison's father and mother, and was the funniest old man! I remember Alison telling me that during the ceremony he leaned over to them at one point and whispered, "Do you know what I forgot? I forgot about doing the ceremony instead of regular mass!" Here he was so used to doing mass, that he had forgotten to bring the ceremony along with him! It was too cute, and nobody ever noticed.

After the ceremony, we headed off to Front Street where we did photos at the PA Bar Association, and then went to the West Shore Country Club for the cocktail hour and reception. The reception was kicking with all kinds of things - some really awesome toasts from both Alison and Brad's fathers, the best man, and the matron of honors, great music by the Impact Band, thousands of homemade cookies made by a family member, and an amateur Michael Jackson that made an exclusive appearance for Billie Jean! What a party!
