Well, under each photo, you will see a "Vote for Favorite" box. If you really like that image, if it tickles your fancy, or makes you laugh, or just plain old makes you smile - go ahead - check it. We know you want to. Each time that box is clicked on a photo, it adds to the running tally for that image. The top 14 favorite images on the entire blog will be shown as thumbnails in this section. Just so you can see the most popular images of all time on the blog. A little something out of the ordinary - it never hurts to be different!
Also, blog posts can be favorites. Now that we have comments available, you will see a little bar meter at the bottom left of each post. Once the meter hits a certain number of comments, its automatically promoted to a "Wiebner Fave Post". :) Something else just for fun!

I find it incredibly difficult to write about us when put on "The Spot". "I need a 500 word bio about you and Joel, now!" Who can do that? How do you make your own personality shine in a few words, let alone that of two people? Well, I am going to give it my best shot. If you really want to know about US - who we really are - read the blog below. We really try to keep it updated as often as possible, and hope that our fun, casual personalities shine through in the words you read and the images we capture for our clients. The blog below is our way of communicating our lives - both personal and professional - with clients, friends, family and colleagues. We believe strongly in using words and images together to communicate our passion.
I am going to keep this short and sweet - Joel and I were meant to be together - to live, love and be happy making photographs. We were both photographers before we met over 9 years ago - we met behind a camera, and continue to feed off of that energy. We are a rock solid husband and wife team and we wouldn't want it any other way - we work together 24/7 and never tire of each other. We have had our business since November 2000, and have thrived on photographing weddings as our main photography genre since 2002. We love what we do. We like to think we look at the world in our own way - not photojournalistically, not traditionally, not artistically. Just as a Wiebner. If you like what we see, then you will like us too. Hi Everyone! So let me tell you its been a crazy week and a half. I was in the hospital last week for blood tests, CT scan, etc. Wasn't fun. I know what's wrong with me now and am on the way to recovery. The boys were also sick with some mysterious high fever/sever headache/sore throat combination for several days. And of course work goes on and weddings continue and that brings us to here!
We will be closed for the above dates - tomorrow we won't be in the office for prep for our trip(s). Saturday we have a wedding with Emily and Jeremy in Hershey. Sunday and Monday we will be in NYC for business, then Tuesday the 17th through Monday the 23rd we will be in Canada for vacation. The 24th is recuperation and unpacking day. We will be back in the office on August 25th. I am not sure how our cell and internet connections/availability will be while we are gone, so we most likely won't be able to return any messages or voicemails until we return to the office on the 25th. Summer is winding down and soon school will be starting back up! We are hoping to enjoy some relaxation with our boys and close friends this next week. Talk to you all soon!
New Summer Hours for Office/Studio Tuesday, June 29, 2010
Busy, busy, busy! That is what we have been the last few weeks, and it will continue on for the rest of the summer. This summer is so crazy, that we have had to adjust our office/studio hours, effective immediately until September 1st.
New hours office/studio hours:
Tues, Wed, Thurs 10-5pm
Lots of weddings, engagement sessions and portrait sessions are keeping us busy for entire weekends for the rest of the summer. If you are thinking about doing a session for Christmas, I would suggest getting in the schedule now - we are starting to take weekend sessions for September and October.
Also, due to the busy season, it has been taking us a little longer to respond to emails/voicemails. We apologize for the delay and will get back to any inquiries as soon as we can - thanks for your patience!
Hey y'all! We're off and running again - we have several weddings we will be photographing, plus taking a vacation with our boys before the season gets too crazy. The office/studio/gallery/boutique will be closed until June 21st. We will have limited internet access while away, so please be patient if you send us an email. We have been working on this since last year, and are soooo excited to announce it's finally time! Our retail photo boutique will be opening on First Friday, June 4th! Yippee! Don't know what I am talking about? Well here's the scoop. When we found our current studio space nearly a year and a half ago, we thought the space would be perfect for a combination of things. One, to house our current working offices. Two, to incorporate our goal of a studio. And three, to open a unique retail experience for clients and photographers alike - all who share a common love - photography! For our clients and local retail customers, we will be carrying unique frames, albums and photo related gifts. Handmade, bound albums at great prices, reclaimed tin and wood frames, and more! For local photographers, both amateur and professional, we will be carrying toy cameras - Dianas, Holgas, etc. As well as lots of cool camera related trinkets, working and usable vintage cameras, etc.
The Studio/Office will be closed from May 27th through June 3rd to set up the new space. We will try to answer emails and phone calls during this time, but there may be a delay in responding.
We just can't wait for this new part of our journey. We will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening on Friday, June 4th, 10-9pm (our 1 year anniversary in this space) for the opening of our new boutique! Come out and join us! There will be prizes, food and fun galore!
Studio/Office Closed - April 21st-27th Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Hey y'all! We are off to Texas for the next several days to photograph some portrait sessions, so the studio and office will be closed. We will have limited access to email while we are away, so we will try and return inquiries as soon as we can, but may not be able to respond until we return to the office on April 28th. I will probably be blogging a bit while we are away though, so keep your eyes here for some recent engagement sessions!
